Clifton J. Burch – President

Clifton J. Burch, the founder of Empire Engineering & Construction, Inc., has a long history of Construction Management, development, strategy and planning. Clifton has completed over 50 projects in the SF Bay Area.

Prior to founding Empire in 2005, Clifton was superintendent at Yerba Buena Engineering & Construction, Inc. Projects included Devil’s Slide and the SF Zoo. Previous positions include foreman at Power Engineering. Clifton has over 20 years experience as a member of the Labor’s Local Union 261, San Francisco.

Empire Engineering & Construction, Inc. is a certified LBE, SBE, MBE, SLEB and HUD Zone Certified Business. Empire has offices in San Francisco and Oakland.

Clifton was named Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 at Bayview Renaissance and is the recipient of the 2010 Angela Cain Award for Excellence in Small Business. Off duty, Clifton volunteers as a coach for basketball at Daly City Park and Rec.
